Wii Music Player

Many game sites have been reporting on the Finetune Music Player built specifically for the Wii Opera browser. With big, dumb buttons and a Wii-friendly interface, the app is extremely smart. (I'm listening to it at work right now, and it works pretty good in Explorer, too.) It will be interesting to see how many online businesses create Wii-enabled portals for their content. I know the porn sites are all over it...at least that's what I hear. No, really.

The "radio" feature is currently down due to high demand, but you can check out their "Best of 2006" playlists in a number of different genres.

Hey there... We've re-enabled the search based features and they will stay up as long as they don't hurt performance of the rest of the service.

The other thing that you can currently do with the Wii version of our player is to first set up a profile with your normal browser... make yourself a playlist (3 songs per artists, 45 song minimum, lots of features to help make that easy)... If you go to any artist page and click "I'm a fan" or if you tag anything then those too will show up as part of your profile on the Wii player.

I've been using artist radio on the wii since we launched it by using my favorite artist list.

En-Joy! More to come...

I have been trying to use finetune but can anyone tell me why the songs keep shuffling and don't finish in it's entirety before it goes to the next one? I've created playlists but I still only get snippets of each song when I play them through the Wii. It's pretty frustrating to listen to 1min or so and them it switches to the next song.
